Synergy Psychosocial Creative Therapeutic Horticulture
A nature based, holistic and person-centred approach to positive mental health and well-being set in a tranquil garden.
Synergy Psychosocial Supports is operated by Anna Nangle and offers Therapeutic Horticulture services, a holistic and non-confrontational approach to therapy which improves both physical and mental wellbeing.
This idyllic one-acre property located in Teesdale offers the opportunity to access therapy, be creative and learn new life skills in a non -threatening, trauma and neurodivergent informed, supportive environment.
People can visit and get back to basics, reduce their stress and engage their senses with the sound of birds, smell of a campfire and feel of their hands in the dirt (if one is comfortable to get their hands dirty and if not, gloves are provided!).

About Anna
For over 10 years now, Anna has been primarily working and managing teams who support people who have experienced high risk family violence, homelessness, mental health and trauma. This included running youth homelessness and family violence crisis refuges.
She has extensive training and education on trauma informed practice, mental health risk assessment/ management and family violence risk management and recovery.
Over the years, Anna observed how much safer people felt whilst using their hands and engaging in an activity.
Testimonials
“Anna provides the space where you are able to hear your inner self and then can give you an intellectual sounding board to discuss what you might have learnt about yourself from sitting in an environment where that quiet thought/ voice can be heard.”
“Anna’s area is very spacious, inviting and friendly with beautiful décor. I’ve had the pleasure of sending clients to her for psychosocial support and I do see the visible change of happiness when
they leave her sessions.” – Support worker
