Work with Anna
A nature based, holistic and person-centred approach to positive mental health and well-being set in a tranquil garden.
Everybody feels better when connecting with nature.
Therapeutic Horticulture is a mode of therapy which utilises plants, garden-based activities, nature and botanical art to improve physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing for people of all ages.
Therapeutic Horticulture is utilised across many different sectors. Some examples include Aged Care, Disability, Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy, Urban Planning and Greenspaces, Education, Correctional Services and Mental Health.
The aim is to support and encourage people to experiment with new things, be creative without judgement, think outside the box and consequently boost self-confidence, independence and autonomy in their everyday life. You can learn about growing and preparing organic, healthy food and how to reduce waste which contributes to a healthy body, mind and environment.
